Terms and Conditions
Medium Rare, N.V., registered at Seru Loraweg 17, B, Curaçao, operates Stake bet, which is licensed by the Curaçao Gaming Authority under licence number OGL/2024/1451/0918. The Terms and Conditions on this page apply to all platforms owned by Medium Rare, N.V.
Important Notice
Every player who registers on any of the Stake platforms enters into an agreement with us that obliges the customer to comply with and not violate the following provisions:
- Terms and Conditions;
- Privacy Policy;
- Cookie Policy;
- AML Policy;
- Affiliate Terms and Conditions.
- If you are not satisfied with any of the above terms, please immediately stop using Stake’s services.
General
By registering on the Stake website, you enter into a legally binding agreement with us. The current agreement comes into effect when the player completes the registration process. In addition, we reserve the right to change the current Terms and Conditions at any time at our discretion. We will notify the player that changes have been made. The new version of the rules comes into effect immediately after publication, and you are solely responsible for complying with them.
The Terms and Conditions on this page take precedence over any other document in the event of a conflict. The Terms and Conditions may be published in several languages, but the English version on this page takes precedence.
Stake Account
Registration
To register on any of the Stake platforms, players must fill out a form with information that includes their email address, full name, date of birth, address, etc. If it turns out that the information provided is inaccurate or incomplete, we reserve the right to suspend the customer’s account.
Stake reserves the right to conduct additional identity or address checks. Registration on all our platforms is prohibited in the following cases:
- The player is a minor in their jurisdiction of residence;
- Betting or gambling is prohibited in the player’s region of residence;
- If you intend to provide false information accidentally.
Stake reserves the right to refuse registration to any player at its discretion.
Multiple Accounts
Each player may only have one account across all Stake platforms. If a player is found to have multiple accounts, we have a strict policy of blocking that player, withholding all winnings and funds from the account balance. Such customers will also be denied future registrations.
User Responsibility
Players are solely responsible for the security of their account details. We are not responsible for any losses incurred by players as a result of disclosing this information to third parties. Players are also prohibited from selling, buying, or transferring their accounts.
Suspension and Closure by Stake
Stake has the right to suspend a player’s account in the following cases:
- If the player has used the Stake platform in a fraudulent manner or has cheated the company;
- If we have received a request from government authorities or cannot verify your identity, profession, or source of funds in any way;
- In the event of a violation of any of the current Terms and Conditions.
If a player’s account is closed for one of the reasons above, the player will be liable for all losses and damages caused to the organisation as a result. If a player’s account is closed, we will notify the player of how they can withdraw money from their account balance.
Your Warranties
By registering on our website, the player agrees to all of the terms and conditions below.
Capacity
- The player is of legal age in accordance with the laws of their country of residence;
- You are considered a fully capable individual in accordance with the law;
- You have not previously been diagnosed with gambling addiction;
- You do not currently have an active self-exclusion on any gambling platform.
Funds & Tax
- The player is solely responsible for declaring and paying all taxes related to the use of Stake services;
- The money you deposit into your Stake account balance has been obtained legally;
- You make deposits and withdrawals on the Stake website only using payment system accounts that belong to you;
- You understand that you can both win and lose on all Stake platforms;
- Your account balance is not a savings account, and you cannot store money there.
Deposits
In order to use Stake’s services, you need to top up your account balance. To do this, users must use the payment systems on the company’s website. By depositing money on the Stake website, you confirm that it has been obtained legally and will not be used to commit crimes.
Stake has the right to set and change payment limits on the company’s website at any time. Payment systems may charge fees for transactions, and we are not responsible for this.
Customers cannot transfer money from one account to another. In addition, Stake may refuse any deposit at its discretion. If a player attempts to make a deposit when their account is blocked or suspended, Stake will have the right to withhold the funds.
Withdrawals
Stake reserves the right to refuse a player’s withdrawal in the following cases:
- If the player has not yet completed identity or other checks with Stake;
- The funds are being transferred to an account that is not owned by the player;
- The player has exceeded or failed to meet the withdrawal limits.
If Stake suspects that a player is in any way violating the current Terms and Conditions, we reserve the right to conduct all necessary checks to clarify the circumstances. During this time, the player’s account may be frozen.
All withdrawals must be made using the payment system that was used for the deposit, if possible. If any winnings are accidentally credited to your account, we will deduct them as they are still the property of Stake. If the player has withdrawn these funds, they are now owed to the Stake website.
FIAT Withdrawals
In order to make a withdrawal, the player must first play for an amount equivalent to the deposit. Withdrawals are made by means of a payment addressed to the player or to their bank account. We reserve the right to carry out additional checks before any payment is made.
If a player has several withdrawal requests at once, we have the right to cancel them and require a single payment. Stake also has the right to charge fees for payments, and if they are on our side, we will notify you of this before the payment.
Placing Bets/Wagers
The player has the right to place bets on the sports listed on the Stake website. A bet is considered accepted only after receiving notification of this from our platform. In addition, bets are only accepted online; any other bets will be considered invalid.
The player is solely responsible for all bets placed. Bets that have already been placed cannot be cancelled. The only circumstances under which a bet may be cancelled are the suspension or cancellation of the relevant event, or an obvious error in the bet or its odds.
Bonus
Stake may offer players various bonuses. Players are only eligible to receive them after fully registering their accounts. By participating in any promotion, you confirm that you agree to comply with its rules and understand that if you violate them, the benefits you have received will be removed from your account.
Each bonus has an expiry date. If it expires and the player has not met the wagering requirements, the bonus will be cancelled, and you will not receive the reward. The validity period of the promotion is always specified in the terms and conditions of specific bonuses.
If we suspect that a player is abusing the bonus, we reserve the right to conduct appropriate checks. If abuse is confirmed, we reserve the right to deny the player the bonus, withdraw all rewards received, or even block the customer’s account. Each player may only have one account on all Stake platforms.
Your Equipment
The player’s equipment may freeze while using Stake’s services. In addition, the client may experience problems with their internet connection. Please note that Stake is not responsible for any losses incurred by the player as a result of such errors.
Breach
By using Stake’s services, you understand that you are obligated to comply with the rules set out on this page. In the event of any violations, you are obligated to compensate us for any losses and damages we incur as a result.
